Considerable reliance is placed in the technical judgment and field construction experience of incumbent in order to determine and recommend final action on assigned projects. The following is a list of typical duties and deliverables that will be required while supporting the project.• Makes thorough study of contracts, plans, and specifications. In the event of discrepancies, recommends changes which would facilitate or improve the facilities, together with justification for the recommendations, and initiates contract modification as required.• Reviews and analyzes proposals submitted by contractors for field changes to contract plans and specifications and prepares draft of findings of fact on which modifications may be based. In preparing such findings of fact, analyzes field construction problems and makes appropriate recommendations for design changes or other appropriate corrective action.
